What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Karen: The most memorable moment of the day was when my dad was giving his toast and sharing all the wonderful things about John that I knew to be true of him. I love that my father sees his character the way I do.

John: When we got to sneak away just the two of us with Chelsi during the reception. I’m glad Chelsi scheduled time for us to have that one on one time together. She helped us feel comfortable with tons of PDA!

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Karen: Let your coordinator and photographer do their jobs. You’re hiring them to handle the stress for you. Enjoy your day!

John: Love your bride. Just enjoy her. Nothing else really matters. 

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Karen: John and I didn’t see each other before the ceremony. So when I was hidden in an upstairs balcony while John was just below and had to use the bathroom, my bridesmaids made a wall and did this hilarious shuffle around me to get me to the bathroom.

John: It was a little too hot for an outdoor dance party, but our friends went for it. It was pretty funny how sweaty everyone got!

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

John: I would have eaten more cheesecake!

Karen: Same!!!

Where did you (or will you) go on your honeymoon?

Cancun…tip: bring antibiotics!
