I found the gown and knew I had to have it! Well, not for me but for someone! That special someone ended up being Daly. I knew that I wanted to base this simply styled shoot off of the dress and then immediately thought about the floral chaise. From there the blues and yellows were born. As always, I like to give the cvendors as much creative freedom as possible and the outcome was breathtaking.
Our gorgeous bouquet was made by Jessica Trobaugh of Inspiration Flowers and Design. She never fails to amaze me. I know it was fun to do something out of the box for this session. The blue thistle flowers were the perfect touch amongst the gorgeous greens and yellows.
Erica Bleil took care of hair and makeup! The makeup was simple with dramatic lashes and the hair was the perfect compliment to the dress. I feel like she can read my mind sometimes, or maybe its that we think alike so much! The reason why I keep telling everyone about her and why I use her for ALL of my senior girl and boudoir clients.
Kelsey Beiermann of Pretty Paper & Co. provided us with the stationery suite. The gorgeous blue writing matched perfectly with the silk ribbon adorning the bouquet. The lemon and leaf was the perfect compliment to the vintage theme we were going for.
The gorgeous dress was lent to us from the AMAZING Many Hands Market Vintage Section in Spencer, Iowa. They have quite the selection of vintage goods and even a few wedding gowns. Daly was the perfect model for this shoot and was literally up for anything. We really had a great time since it was just the two of us at Hillview in Hinton Iowa.
We had the perfect evening to shoot and I cannot thank the creatives behind this shoot enough!
