While boating on Five Island Lake with family Amber and Lee came across The Shores.  She excitedly exclaimed,

“That’s where we’re getting married!”

And so on June 22, they were married lakeside with close family friends there to witness their vows.

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Bride: The most memorable moment of the day for me was reading the letter Lee had written to me. It meant so much to me to read his thoughts and feelings and that it made me both laugh and cry! I will always cherish that letter.

Groom: Getting married! 

Any advice for future bride/grooms?

Bride: If you can, have either your photographer or videographer capture your receiving line if you have one. My parents still go back and look at their photos of all the loved ones who have passed away that came to their wedding!

Groom: Enjoy every moment. 

Funniest memory from your wedding day?

Bride: I thought one of the funniest memories from our wedding day was during our ceremony when the pastor said it was national bring your dog to work day!

Groom: Watching the kids do the scavenger hunt. 

If you could do it all over, would you change anything?

Bride: I forgot to wear my jewelry! A couple of days after the fact I realized I never put on my necklace and earrings. I got so caught up in everything else going on, that I forgot!

Groom: A little cooler weather would’ve been great but the weather was still great! 

Where did you (or will you) go on your honeymoon?

We went to Duluth, MN for our mini-moon and will be going to Maui for our honeymoon in January.
